Swansea's landmark regeneration scheme
A former coal stocking yard, Birchgrove is a 70-acre brown field site off Ynysallan Road and Heol Las in Swansea which has been remediated and developed for residential use. With easy links to the M4 via Junction 44 and 45 and the new Swansea Vales spine road, it is a prime location for development.
Around 650 homes in total are planned and all available land has now been sold to major housebuilders including Persimmon, Barratt and Bellway Homes. Work is underway on the final phase of housing by David McLean, Redrow and Barratt.
The combined expertise of Macob has enabled the companies within the Group to provide a full range of services for Birchgrove. Macob Civil Engineering provided the on site infrastructure and entrance works, Macob Limited undertook the groundworks and Macob Utilities installed the services for the development.
