Work is underway on the flagship £10m St Catherine's Corner development in Pontypridd.
The 39,395 sq ft scheme, situated opposite Sardis Road on the corner of Gelliwastad Road is being promoted as a key redevelopment catalyst for the town centre.
Macob Projects is working to a 21 month construction schedule alongside appointed contractors Opco following collaboration between Macob Projects, Rhondda Cynon Taff Council and the Welsh Assembly Government.
There has been strong interest in Pennant House with 70% of the office space already let.
On completion, the development will offer a new 313-space multi-storey car park and offices with the capacity to accommodate up to 100 jobs. The offices will be compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act offering comfort cooling and heating, raised floors, suspended ceilings and a flexible open plan layout.
